Only One Way To Heaven?

The short answer is Yes. There is, and can be, Only One Way to Heaven.

First a little background:

The Truth is the Truth and it is NOTHING else. A partial or half truth is still utterly false. There is no falseness in truth, because that would make it immediately and completely false. You cannot add anything to the truth, because it is already the truth and anything additional would render it false.

For those Engineers in the crowd, here is a simple logic table for an "Exclusive AND Gate", where each digit represents the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit respectively: (All of which are God in separate forms, but still ONE God)

111 = 1 = True
110 = 0 = False
101 = 0 = False
100 = 0 = False
000 = 0 = False
(All other iterations also produce a False result)

The only combination that produces the Truth is when all three pieces of the Godhead are present. If any of the pieces are missing, then you are looking at a false religion.

In The Truth article, we explained how only God could possibly be the truth. He is the only being that is perfect in every way. Everyone else falls short of perfection and is therefore flawed.

Since we are flawed, we simply are not perfect. The problem is that God will only allow perfect people in to Heaven.

Matt 5:20 - "For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven"

Matt 5:48 - "You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

What?! How can that be? If that is the case then there is NO hope, right?!

Glad you asked!!

The misunderstanding, that us flawed humans have, is that we think we can become perfect on our own. We try to do good things and help others. We sometimes give to the poor or we edify someone by publicly praising them in front of others. We use proper etiquette and manners when visiting or hosting guests. We might help someone fix their car or their computer or what have you and the list goes on and on.

Please don't get me wrong here, all of these things are wonderful and we should do them, because they are the right thing to do. The issue is that these things will not get you in to Heaven.
